Welcome to CaNOE Currents!

CaNOE wants to connect with youth and early career ocean enthusiasts! This group would help create outreach content, while CaNOE will provide support through training, help build your experience, and grow your personal networks.

The CaNOE Currents program is looking for youth (individuals under the age of 30) to promote ocean literacy across Canada by creating ocean educational content such as a blog post, Tik Tok, or videos. The educational content will be featured on the CaNOE website and social media channels.

What if I don’t know what kind of content to make?

We are more than happy to work with you and any ideas you have to help create content. We’ll help workshop ideas, give feedback, and you’ll get lots of insight during our science communication workshop!

What do I get out of the program?

We are excited to offer an informative science communication webinar to participants that will offer valuable and applicable insight into science communication topics!
