As a non-profit charity CaNOE is powered by a volunteer board of directors since it was founded in 2014 and has been dependent on grants from partner organizations, government funding, and membership fees from our dedicated member base. There are many costs associated with running a national organization from printing stickers for promotion, subscriptions for web hosting, our membership platform service, our webinar communication subscriptions, travel bursaries, and scholarships for people to attend our events and conferences. Funds also allow CaNOE to employ students that require the organization to contribute to employment grants.
