Welcome to CaNOE Currents!
CaNOE wants to connect with youth and early-career ocean enthusiasts! This group would help create outreach content, while CaNOE will provide support through training, help build your experience, and grow your personal networks.
The CaNOE Currents program is looking for youth (individuals under the age of 30) to promote ocean literacy across Canada by creating ocean educational content.

We are excited to offer an informative science communication webinar to participants that will offer valuable and applicable insight into science communication topics! Participants will also get access to our CaNOE network and the ocean literacy community as well as recognition for any content created!
We are more than happy to work with you and any ideas you have to help create content. We’ll help workshop ideas, give feedback, and you’ll get lots of insight during our science communication workshop!
It’s up to you! Depending on the type of content you are interested in creating, you are free to work as long/ short as you feel necessary. A blog post may take a few hours of research and writing, however, you may be able to create a social media post in a shorter time period. There is no minimum time commitment!
